Join Us for a Week of Service in the City and Respite in the Mountains

• Participate in morning and evening prayer as well as daily Mass
• Provide meals and other services to people who are homeless
• Refresh and refuel through recreation like hiking, swimming and golf

An Overview of the Week

You and other volunteers will arrive Monday by lunchtime for an afternoon of preparation, relaxation and prayer. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we will travel together to the St. Vincent de Paul Center inBakersfield. We will help the center provide meals and other services to over a hundred people who are homeless. Our evenings will be restful but also provide an interesting look at some global challenges through DVD film screenings and discussions. Friday we'll wrap-up the week in the morning and head 'back to our regular programming' restored and refreshed in God's love.
