Modern Slavery Exposed on Video

In addition to the 2007 DVD release of Lives for Sale, filmmakers and reporters increasingly tell the stories of the people behind Modern Slavery. On Tuesday, July 31 PrimeTime on ABC will feature a story about a young girl rescued from slavery in an upscale home in Irvine, California. Read more at the PrimeTime site and be sure to watch the newscast!

ABC has also recently aired a story that highlighted the work of filmmaker Michael Cory Davis, who has made two films about sex trafficking and continues to work for awareness and an end to modern day slavery.

The Sisters of Notre Dame provide event announcements as part of their ongoing campaign for Global Human Trafficking Awareness. If you have a related event to promote, please contact our webmaster.
