MAY 30, 2006 -- Notre Dame Learning Center holds its next Open House Saturday, June 10th. Stop by between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to see the beautiful facility and meet the Sisters and lay teachers who make this preschool a wonderful intergenerational experience.
MAY 23, 2006 -- Congratulations to Sr. Mary Rebekah Kennedy for being awarded a Master of the Arts in Pastoral Ministry from St. John's Seminary. The academic address was given by Sr. Regina Robbins, who serves St. John's as assistant professor of pastoral studies and director of pastoral formation and field education. More details.
MAY 23, 2006 -- "THE NUN IN THE HAT" has done it again. Sr. Mary Lynn Liederbach, detention minister at St. Paschal Baylon church, raised funds for the 2006 Get on the Bus program. On Mother's Day, several hundred children in California visited their mothers who are incarcerated in far away prisons thanks to this program. Click for details and a picture.
MAY 23, 2006 -- Chief Quack Sr. Lisa Megaffin may be cooking to celebrate a Holy Quacker victory! The team sold 384 ducks for the May 21 duck race benefiting Many Mansions. The Holy Quackers outsold their competition by more than fifty ducks! Congratulations!
