Sr. Mary Christopher Smetanka returned to the Lord on Monday, August 2, 2010, the day after beginning her annual retreat. Sr. Christopher was an educator who loved working with the youngest children and always offered hospitality to visitors and sisters alike.

With sadness in our hearts and trust in God's provident care, the Sisters of Notre Dame announce the death of Sister Mary Carlann Paganelli on Saturday, May 15, 2010 after a struggle with cancer.
Among her many talents, Sr. Carlann will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her joyous service and her love of singing.
